  • Making your own facial serum is really easy! All you need is a carrier oil (or oils!) and essential oils (or oil!) of your choice. Below are a few skin care/facial serum recipes using the essential oils and carrier oils listed above:

GOLDEN TIPS

Oils are great for the skin. I learned that oil-based serums are actually wonderful for all types of skin, including mature skin, dry skin, sensitive skin, acne prone skin etc.  Face oils & serums are a wonderful way to heal, moisturize and protect your skin!!!

And one more thing, last but not the least: while storing these oils, keep them in cool, dry and dark places and their bottles should better be in dark colors so that they are affected less by the sunlight!!!

Enjoy your own homemade serums :)))

  1. Very interesting your blog about oils! I have questions about thsese serums. How long does this blending last i.e. face serum for mature skin? Is it possible to blend it with my day/night cream or should I apply both separately?
    Thanks in advance

  2. I have my own natural skin business, and I recommend using a facial mist first (on clean skin of course), then add a few drops of your Serum, let it soak in and if you need more nourishment you can add your cream. I like to always top it off with some mist again :) Def mist BEFORE applying your skin regiment, so your skin stays hydrated underneath :) www.mooikosmetiks.com
